Page Speed Impact

kb-green

Low - The text module itself will not have a significant impact on page speed.

Exceptions - Additional impact if images, videos and other content are added to the rich-text editor without being properly sized and compressed. An image background can also impact page performance.

How to Set Up the POWER Sec Text Module

Content → PWR Sec Text

The PWR sec text module is designed to give you robust and multiple design options to style your text sections as you wish.

Module Options

These settings are available for the POWER sec text module.

Building the text module

Intro to title

This will set the sub header in smaller text to appear above your main header.

Title

This will set the main title of your module.

Title - Header Type

This will set the HTML markup of your header (h1, h2, h3 etc) and by default it will style your header based on your theme settings. You can set the header here with a different styling through your module's style settings if you wish.

Content (left and right)

Depending on your module layout, you may see one or two of these sections. This is the content that will be displayed on your text elements. Styling, links and other elements in this can be set through your HubSpot rich text options

Layout

These settings will allow you to define the layout of your module.

Layout → Choose Layout

Option to choose from the following:

  • Title Top, Text 1 Column
  • Title Top, Text 2 Columns
  • Title Left, Text Right
  • Text Tabs - Vertical Centered
  • Text Tabs - Vertical
  • Text Tabs - Vertical

A Title top layout will have a title at the beginning of your module and display the main text based on your layout options.

Tabbed elements will nest your text elements under a tabbed navigational element. For examples on how this may look refer to our tabs demo

Layout → Intro width

Choice between narrow or default. Setting this to default will set your intro to be the width of your content section. Narrow will set this to be more narrow compared to the content width.

Layout → Flip Content Order on Mobile

If enabled this will force the right element on desktop to be the first element on a mobile view. Without this enabled the left desktop element will be the first element on a mobile view.

Layout → Centered

Check this to center all content to the center of the module.

Layout → Boxed Section

This will set your module to have a boxed section layout, offering some additional options in the positioning of your module. For more information on boxed sections see our boxed sections article

Layout → Padding Top/Bottom & Margin Top/Bottom

Add additional padding and margins to the top and bottom of your modules. Padding/Margins Left & Right will be depending on your boxed sections and previously set layout options.

Layout → Show More

Hides a portion of your section behind a "Show More" button which will reveal additional content if clicked.

Styling your text module

Style → Color Scheme

Choose between your light and dark color scheme defined in your theme settings.

Style → Intro Title Style - Text

Choose between default (inherited from your theme settings), a specific color, or create your own gradient.

Style → Intro Title Style - Background

Style → Title Style

Choose between default (inherited from your theme settings), a specific color, or create your own gradient.

Style → Title Size

Set the style from your theme settings that your title will inherit. This will not affect the HTML markup of your title so will not affect any SEO on your title. This will just cause the title to inherit the styles for this title set out within your theme settings.

Style → Section Shadow

Enable this checkbox to set a shadow for your text module, providing a 3d effect.

Style → Background

Choice of Background Color, Background Image/Video, Background Gradient, or Transparent.
